    Why do some of us give our power away to our family, friends and co-workers?
    Many people were conditioned when they were young by parents, teachers and/or relatives.

    Giving your power away
    • Needing approval
    • Trying to fit in
    • Feeling unworthy
    • Lack of self confidence
    Regain your power!!

    Ways to stay in your power
    • Stay in balance... take care of yourself
    • Respond vs. react
    • Control your attitude
    • Set your daily intentions
    • Stay focused on your goals and desires
    • Change your desires into beliefs

  3. Being vs. Doing

    Don't fall into the trap of thinking your work is most important. These are things such as:
    Labels ... am a teacher, I am an artist, I am a healer

    • If you obsess about doing, your connection with Spirit is severed because Spirit is accessed through state of being.

    • As long as you are focused on work that is outside yourself, you will never be in your power because all true power lies within. The greatest changes to this planet can only occur through your inner being functioning from your heart center.

    • It isn't what you do that counts, it is who you are. This is your greatest contribution to mankind because it is your attitude that registers in the grid of humanity.

    • Feel the sense of freedom when you release the draining experiences of trying to save the world and others (do, do, do). By being who you are and vibrating at that frequency, you can affect all of creation (be, be, be)

  4. What We Reist Persists

    Attention feeds energy, so we empower that which we focus on and we attract that which we fear. These are some of the hidden laws of the universe.

    We strengthen that which we oppose. The more we focus on a problem, the more we empower it.

    How is your life going in the following areas?
    1. Finances
    2. Family
    3. Health
    4. Happiness
    5. Relationships
    6. Peace
    7. Spirituality

    If you can't say you are doing great... Think about what it is you are drawing into your life. What are you giving your attention to? What are you feeding to get more of the same?

    Go inside to find the answers; then make the changes (if any) to attract more of what you want in life effortlessly.

    Language of Pain
    At a spiritual level, all illness, pain, disease, and injuries are the language of Spirit telling us what aspect of our lives need to be brought into harmony with who we are. Therefore, it is wise to examine what is behind the symptoms and ask for the lesson, then embrace it and release it. When we release core issues, the illness, pain or disease goes away.

    A sickness that is labeled contagious certainly has the potential to spread, but it cannot invade the body if we are balanced and have healthy boundaries.

  5. Getting Rid of the Noise

    How can you stop the negative mental chatter that leads to needless arguing, outbursts, resignation, and recurring urges to lash out?

    We are under the spell of our emotions. When emotions take over, logic disappears.

    EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE
    1. You can take control of your reactions.
    2. The emotions don't go away;, you learn ways in which to recognize them as soon as they appear.
    3. Understand the real reason for their existence
    4. Shift them before they flood your consciousness.
    5. Practice self-talk and choose your reactions yourself... stay in control.

    If you don't deal with your emotions, they hold you in contempt, undermining your perspective, your decision-making, your relationships and your happiness.

    Learn how to read the emotional state that naturally occurs in your body. You will then be better able to connect with others, cope with your daily stressors and feel more peacefulness and joy in your life.

    Learning how to be emotionally intelligent is the process of understanding how your brain works and then using this information to choose how you want to think and act.

    Definition of Emotional Intelligence:

    A conscious effort where a person:
    1. Identifies the current emotional state (one's own or that of someone else)
    2. Determines the emotional trigger or a source of the emotional state
    3. Chooses a reaction from a range of possibilities

    The result is an increase in one's confidence and peace of mind while connecting with others at a deeper, more effective level.
